Q: What server does UNNF use
to read its data from?
A: We use a feed provided by the very reliable and reputable
easynews.com
Q: What groups does the system cover?
A: Visit the homepage and click "3000 groups" link
for a complete list.
Q: I am unable to log in or changing keywords just sends me
back to the main login page.
A: In Internet Explorer
Select Tools
Select Options
Select Privacy Tab
Setting the Slider to the highest Block
All Cookies or High (I just tested High)
causes any searches, or other functions, to kick you back
to the home page. The only function that works is the Generate
online live report.. Setting the Slider
to Medium High is the highest setting that allows
normal function. I am able to add/delete from my keyword list,
search, use Advanced
etc.
Q: What else can I use
UNNF for besides my daily report?
A: UNNF also allows you to search the Usenet real-time after
you login, use the Search box. This can help you find content
immediately if you don't wish to wait for your report.
Q: When does your database get updates?
A: Our database is updated every 3 hours (12pm, 3pm, 6pm,
etc..)
Q: Does UNNF send me the download? How do I get the files?
A: No, what we do is tell you what messages match your keywords
and the group to go to to get your selections, please see
"Suggested Software" for recommended downloading
software.
Q: Are there any plans for expansion of services?
A: Yes, in the next month of so we plan another added in feature
that will send you (along with keyword matches) a list of
all newly posted items for up to 5 of your favorite newsgroups.
Q: I got my report and there is no "xyz" in it but
I KNOW the messages exist in group "123", how come?
A: Please send us an email with the specifics of the problem,
it may be your keywords, we will be glad to investigate further.
